In THE printing AND DYEING and TEXTILE industries, IT IS USED INSTEAD OF ACETIC acid AS A color developing agent for fast pigment dyes, as a dyeing aid, as a bleaching agent for knitwear YARns and fine cotton, and as a detergent for iron removal.

In the metallurgical industry, it is used to make film carbon rod, extract high purity nickel, and as metal precipitant in the smelting of rare earth metals (e.g. thorium and cerium extracted from phosphorus, decoration, lanthanum).

In the motor industry, it is used to make tungsten alloy steel. It is used in the leather industry to treat oil stains. In oil chemistry for terpineol, glycerol and stearate refining. In addition, oxalic acid is also used in aluminum alloy film processing, hard alloy manufacturing, alloy tool head, and used as steel, soil analysis reagent.
